PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a pop-up stroboscope while keeping a lens barrier closed. SOLUTION: In the camera equipped with a pop-up stroboscope 2 and a sliding lens barrier 9, a pop-up stroboscopic case 4 for the pop-up stroboscope 2 is provided with a catch piece 6 which is energized by a spring 8 so as to telescopically operate, and then, caught by the closed lens barrier 9 so as to prevent the stroboscopic case 4 from popping up, and in the case of storing the popped-up stroboscopic case 4 into the stroboscope storing part 13 of the camera body 1, the catch piece 6 comes into contact with the end edge 91 of the closed lens barrier 9 and retreats against the spring 8, and the catch piece 6 returns to the original position on the inside of the lens barrier 9, and then, the piece 6 is caught by the lens barrier 9 from the inside.
