<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating an oxide ferroelectric crystal in which special equipment or the like is not needed; complicated process control is not required; and conductivity is increased and pyroelectricity can be relieved relatively easily. <P>SOLUTION: The oxide ferroelectric crystal W is heat-treated in a reducing or an inert atmosphere in the state where a gas phase, a liquid phase or a solid phase alkali metal hydroxide AH is brought into contact with it. Preferably, the oxide ferroelectric crystal W is heat-treated at a temperature between 400°C and the Curie point temperature after a solution of an alkali metal hydroxide AH is coated or in the presence of the steam of the alkali metal hydroxide AH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
