<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new N-sulfenylpyrrole compound and its new manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The N-sulfenylpyrrole compound is represented by formula (A) (wherein Ar is a group selected from an aromatic group and a heterocyclic group, and this aromatic group may have, as a substituent, a group or an atom selected from a 1-12C alkyl group, a 1-12C alkoxy group, a 1-12C alkoxycarbonyl group, a 6-12C aromatic group, a halogen, a nitro group, and a cyano group, and the heterocyclic group is a ring-forming group containing at least one atom selected from nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur in addition to carbon; and R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a group or an atom selected from hydrogen, a 1-12C alkyl group, and a 6-12C aromatic group).
