PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrong attachment prevention means capable of surely preventing the wrong attachment of a universal joint to a shaft. SOLUTION: With the shaft 1 incompletely fitted to a tubular part 8 (refer to Fig.A), a stopping part 76 located at a stopping position of this wrong attachment prevention means 7 partially overlaps a part of a screw hole 15 of a second tab 13 when viewed from the insertion direction of a bolt 6. By bringing a tip of the bolt 6 inserted from a bolt insertion hole of a first tab into contact with the stopping part 76 located at the stopping position, screwing of the bolt 6 into the screw hole 15 is stopped. When the shaft 1 is inserted into a normal position of the tubular part 8, a drive part 77 of the wrong attachment prevention means 7 pressed by an end 1a of the shaft 1 in response to the insertion is pressed (refer to Fig.B), whereby the stopping part 76 of the wrong attachment prevention means 7 is displaced to a release position shown in Fig.C.
