<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for embedding information on an object such as paper, paper board, and plastic. <P>SOLUTION: The method for embedding information on a base material includes: the process wherein a machine-readable code includes a pair of printed markings, the printed markings respectively having the predetermined height from the base material and showing the predetermined values, the printed markings of the identical predetermined height showing the identical data value, the printed markings showing a different data value having a different height; the process to print a machine readable code on the base material by accumulating, on the base material, an ultraviolet curable phase change ink containing a coloring agent of an optional ingredient, radiation curable monomer or prepolymer, photopolymerization initiator, and a phase change ink vehicle containing reactive wax and a gelatinizer; and the process to cure the accumulated ink so that the respective printed markings can have the predetermined heights. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
