<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode capable of forming a coating (a solid polymer electrolyte layer) for preventing short circuit, having a flat and uniform thickness, and capable of preventing a short circuit in an electrochemical element. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electrode includes: a first process forming the coating consisting of a paint for an active material layer by applying the paint for the active material layer containing active material particles 2, a binder for an active material layer and a first solvent to a current collector 6; a second process applying a second solvent 10 to the coating; and a third process applying a paint for a solid polymer electrolyte layer containing a solid polymer electrolyte, a binder for the solid polymer electrolyte layer and a third solvent to a coating 8c to which the second solvent 10 has been applied, and the first solvent is a good solvent of the binder for the active material layer, and the second solvent 10 is a poor solvent of the binder for the solid polymer electrolyte layer, and the third solvent is a good solvent of the binder for the solid polymer electrolyte layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
