PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade which of reliably provides its original wiping performance by preventing any improper assembly when fitting a pair of backings to a backing housing groove of a blade rubber. SOLUTION: A locking recess 15c of one backing 15a is provided in a positionally deviated manner to the outer side in the longitudinal direction of a locking recess 15d of the other backing 15b on both ends of a blade rubber 14. Locking projections 16d-16g of caps 16a, 16b fitted to each end are provided in a positionally deviated manner in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the locking recesses 15c, 15d of the backings 15a, 15b. The caps 16a, 16b are locked to the locking recesses 15c, 15d of the backings 15a, 15b only when the backings 15a, 15b are regularly fitted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
