A boron nitride composition and a polymer composite prepared by using the same are provided to use the boron nitride composition as filler in large quantities for automotive and electronic applications, and produce products withstanding humid condition. A boron nitride composition comprises boron nitride powder. A surface of the boron nitride powder is treated with at least one organic silicon compound selected from (RR'SiO-)n, and NHn(SiR1R2R3)3-n. In the (RR'SiO-)n, R and R' are the same or different and selected from a group consisting of H, alkyl, aryl and substituted aryl; n has a value ranging from 3-16 for a cyclic compound and 2 to 1 million for a linear compound. In the NHn(SiR1R2R3)3-n, each of R1, R2, R3 is a hydrocarbyl group or H; n is 1 or 2. |
