PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology reducing contact resistance of a current collector, an electrode, and an electrolyte membrane, and realizing thinness of a DMFC. SOLUTION: A cathode 44 is provided on one face of an electrolyte membrane 30, and an anode 34 is provided on the other face of the electrolyte membrane 30. The cathode 44 and a cathode side current collector 48 are in contact, and the anode and an anode side current collector 38 are in contact. A plate spring member 12 brings the cathode 44 and the cathode side current collector 48 into close contact each other. A stopper 16 and a tightening member 18 fix the plate spring member 12 and press it to the cathode side current collector 48. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
