A hose clamp, especially for automobile assembly, has a metal strap (1) and at least two positioning grips (8, 18) spaced by at least 120 deg. The grips secure the rotational and axial position of the clamp and enable the assembler to pre-align the clamp for the subsequent tightening via a securing tool. The grips are mounted on metal straps and/or onto the clamp strap and secured by welding, crimping or by other conventional means. |
