The method includes displaying a selectable primary icon relating to emergency services on an integrated input and display device of the navigation device; displaying a. plurality of selectable secondary icons on the navigation device, at least two of the secondary icons relating to at least one of emergency service information and emergency service access, in response to a processor of the navigation device receiving an indication of selection of the icon relating to emergency services; and displaying, upon receipt of an indication of selection of one of the plurality of selectable secondary icons, at least further information.
