The present invention relates to a device for injecting sodium of a sodium sulfur battery and a method for injecting sodium, comprising: a storage container which can minimize gas between sodium or between sodium and an electrolyte when injecting sodium of a sodium sulfur battery and stores the sodium for injecting battery to inject accurate amount of the sodium depending on the use of the battery; an injecting pipe which transfers the sodium by being connected to a gap between the storage container and the battery; a heating tank which supplies heat to the storage container and the battery; and a vacuum unit which removes inner gas of the battery through the injecting pipe by being connected to the storage container.
