PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform wireless power supply efficiently.SOLUTION: In a power receiving device which receives supply of power from a power transmission device which transmits power by wireless power supply, presence/absence of a foreign substance which influences the wireless power supply is determined with a first detection method before power supply to a load of the power by the wireless power supply is started. While the power is supplied to the load, presence/absence of the foreign substance is determined with a second detection method which is different from the first detection method.
