<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding food, molding a food molded product excellent in binding property without spoiling original taste and flavor of a food material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for molding food includes a process of cutting a food material to be molded in a first small piece form, a process of grinding a food material to be molded in a speck and soup liquid form, a process of mixing the food material of the first small piece form, the food material of the speck and soup liquid form, and polysaccharide powder, and a process of compression-molding the mixed food material.
