Light control method and system

The method involves determining an actual brightness value in regions to be illuminated. Control values for lights (107-109) are calculated in such a manner that totality of deviations of the calculated brightness value from the control values reaches a minimum. The control values are transmitted to the lights, where the calculation of the control values takes place by an iteration process. The control values are calculated and transmitted when the deviations of the calculated brightness value from the control values exceed a bar. An independent claim is also included for a light control system for controlling lights to realize a brightness value provided in regions.
