PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer including a spit area to which thickened ink is discharged in the outside of a recording area and periodically discharging ink from an inkjet head.SOLUTION: A receiving part is made to be a roller 20 so that discharged ink is not laminated. A tank 22 storing cleaning liquid is provided on the lower side of the roller 20, and the roller 20 is cleaned with the cleaning liquid by immersing the lower part of the roller 20 in the tank. A blade 24 is brought into contact with the roller so as to prevent the ink from flowing into the tank 22 storing the cleaning liquid by adhering to the roller 20 and to make the ink flow into a waste liquid tank 31. An operation for periodically discharging ink is performed so as to prevent the concentration of the cleaning liquid in the ink from increasing and control is performed so that the concentration is within a fixed range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
