A file management method and device. The method comprises: intercepting an operation of a file system and for cleaning a file handle (201); acquiring file characteristics of a target file targeted by the operation (202); acquiring, according to the file characteristics, management mode information of the target file (203), wherein the management mode information is information configured to indicate that the target file is to-be-deleted or deletion of the target file should be prevented; and processing, according to the management mode information, a file flag of a file object corresponding to the target file in the file system, and resuming the operation for cleaning the file handle (204). The method achieves secure and reliable file processing. |
