Provided are tights (1) suitable for physical trainings such as running, said tights having a function of, in a walking or running motion, applying an assist force along a direction of lifting a thigh part and thus increasing the bending movable range of the hip joint. In the tights (1), a material (2) that has a higher stretch restoring power than a material used in a back body part is disposed in an area ranging from a front part of a waist hole in a front body part to the rectus femoris muscle in the thigh part toward the kneecap, the length of said material (2) being sufficient to reach at least the upper end of the patella. When the hip joint is extended, the highly elastic material (2) stretches. When the hip joint is bent, the highly elastic material (2) that has stretched shrinks so as to assist the bending motion of the hip joint. |
