This content delivery system is a content delivery system provided with: an on-board terminal that is connected thereto by means of radio communication; and a content delivery server. The content delivery server is provided with an advance transmission unit for specifying a content item that is highly likely to be utilized by the on-board terminal in a poor communication area where the state of the radio communication is degraded, and transmitting the specified content item to the on-board terminal before the vehicle equipped with the on-board terminal reaches the poor communication area. The on-board terminal is provided with an on-board terminal storage unit for storing the content item transmitted by the advance transmission unit.
