PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe type heat sink capable of increasing a heat transport quantity by each pipe of a heat pipe and also efficiently obtaining large capacity.SOLUTION: A heat pipe type heat sink 1 is such that a heat transfer block 20 to which a heating element A is fitted has a plurality of loop type heat pipes 10 having heat radiation fins 15 provided at a pipe looped in one plane. Then a plurality of pipes of the heat pipe 10 are arranged obliquely such that while the plane is put perpendicularly, bottom parts of the respective pipes are put on one horizontal straight line and upper parts are spread in two right and left directions. The heat transfer block 20 is provided with the respective pipes of the heat pipe 10 such that at least lower straight pipe parts 11a and U-shaped pipe parts 12 of lower parts thereof are in contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
