PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent coating heat exchanger that can reduce desorption energy consumption amount.SOLUTION: In each position from an entrance to an exit of the flow path of air flowing in one direction while coming into contact with a fin and performing heat exchange with coolant, the temperature characteristics representing a relationship between the temperature Ta of the air and the temperature of an adsorbent Td are found. In the temperature characteristics, the position where the temperature Ta of the air becomes the same as the temperature Td of the adsorbent is assumed as a first position. In partial water vapor pressure characteristics representing the relationship between a partial water vapor pressure Pva of the air in each position from the entrance to the exit and a partial water vapor pressure Pvd of the adsorbent, the position where (Pvd-Pva) in the position corresponding to the first position becomes zero is assumed as a second position.
