<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of pigment ink for inkjet printing capable of easily evaluating both of dispersion stability of the pigment when the pigment ink is in contact with a dye ink before printing, and optical density of a printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: This evaluation method of the pigment ink for inkjet printing which contains a pigment and water includes an evaluation method of pigment aggregation in which 10 pts.wt. of aqueous sodium chloride solution is added to 100 pts.wt. of the pigment ink. The evaluation method of the pigment aggregation includes a first evaluation of aggregation by adding an X wt.% aqueous sodium chloride solution, and a second evaluation of aggregation by adding a Y wt.% aqueous sodium chloride solution, wherein concentrations of the aqueous sodium chloride solutions are set to fulfill a following condition (A): (A) 1.0≤X<Y≤2.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
