PURPOSE: Armid fiber and bulletproof fabric using the same are provided to improve bulletproof property in a longitudinal direction and a diameter direction of the fabric, and to buffer impact of bullets by using the fabric with raw yarns having high intensity. CONSTITUTION: The aramid fiber has an amino bond between aromatic group rings. The loop cutting tenacity of the aramid fiber is 13 ~ 15 g/d. The loop extension tenacity of the fiber is 3 ~ 8 g/d when the aramid fiber is extended about 0.5%. When the armid fiber is extended 1 %, the loop extension tenacity of the fiber is 8 ~ 13 g/d. A manufacturing method of the aramid fiber includes the following steps: manufacturing an aromatic polyamide polymer having inherent viscosity over 6.3 or more; manufacturing spinning dope by dissolving the aromatic polyamide polymer in a solvent; and spinning the spinning dope. |
