<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a polyether ester polyol which can produce flexible polyurethane foam having good air permeability and moldability, free from deterioration of physical properties of foam, and showing sufficient heat fusibility by reacting a polyether polyol, a polycarboxylic acid anhydride, and a monoepoxide in the presence of a catalyst comprising a compound metal cyanide complex. CONSTITUTION:A polyether ester polyol (having a hydroxyl number of 5 to 80 and the number of hydroxyl groups of 2 to 6) for manufacturing flexible polyurethane is obtained by reacting a polyether polyol (A) (having a hydroxyl number of 10 to 400, preferably 20 to 200, and the number of hydroxyl groups of 2 to 8, preferably 2 to 6), a polycarboxylic acid anhydride (B) (e.g. phthalic anhydride), and a monoepoxide (C) (e.g. propylene oxide) at a molar ratio of A to B of 1:(1 or above) and that of B to C of 1:(1 or above) in the presence of a catalyst comprising a compound metal cyanide complex (e.g. zinc hexacyanocobaltate).</p> |
