PURPOSE:To easily execute the restoration or version up of a recording control program when the program is destructed by storing the recording control program in the 1st writable and non-volatile memory and writing a program in the 1st memory in accordance with a loader program stored in the 2nd memory. CONSTITUTION:The recording control program for controlling a recording part 16 and recording data in accordance with recording information supplied from a personal computer 12 is stored in the 1st memory 23. The 1st read/write memory 23 is a non-volatile memory whose recording contents are not erased even if the power supply of the output terminal equipment is disconnected and a ROM backed up by a battery is used for the memory 23. On the other hand, the 2nd memory 24 is a ROM storing the loader program for writing the program supplied from the computer 12 in the 1st memory 23. Consequently, the recording control program can easily be restored or improved.
