PURPOSE: A generator control system is provided to improve the response rate of a generator voltage control according to a voltage feedback delay by applying a peak voltage detecting part and a control gain transform part. CONSTITUTION: A generator control system comprises a peak voltage detecting part(420), a comparator(500), and a controller(600). The peak voltage detecting part detects the peak voltage of the generator. The comparator comprises a first and a second comparator(510,520). The first comparator compares the peak voltage with a lower value. The second comparator compares the peak voltage with an upper value. The controller controls a control gain when the peak voltage is less than the lower value. The controller maintains the present voltage of the generator when the peak voltage is greater than the upper value.
