Disclosed is a compound represented by formula (II) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or clathrate thereof wherein A is -CH=CH-, -CZ=CH-, or -CH=CZ-; L is a linker selected from the group consisting of -NRCH2-, and -NR-C(O)-; and wherein the rest of the substituents are disclosed within the specification. Also disclosed is the usefulness of the above compound of formula II for immunosuppression or to treat or prevent inflammatory conditions and immune disorders.
