The ball joint has a cap-like holder with an airtight spherical recess, a ball journal with cylindrical shaft and spherical ball. It further comprises an elastic joint seal with one aperture to go against the holder at one end and another which can be brought against the ball journal shaft to form a cover between the holder and the journal. The holder has a seal pass sector (3e), against which the first aperture (4c) of the joint seal is fitted round an aperture (3c). The aperture is connected to the spherical recess (3b) and to an edge (3e2), to prevent the joint seal coming away from the free end of the seal pass sector.
