The invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer, laminated, prepreg planar formed body. Said formed body is used in a subsequent work step which comprises compression molding and thermosetting and which is provided for producing a fibrous composite component. In order to produce the formed body, a fibrous web (= prepreg web) which is preimpregnated with a thermosettable synthetic resin and which is covered on at least one side by a separating film (2) is cooled down to a temperature at which the portions of water contained therein are frozen and, as a result, the surfaces thereof are no longer sticky. Before or after this cooling process (5), the uncut separating film(s) (2) is/are stripped from the prepreg web (1). The cooled prepreg web (1) is then subdivided into individual prepreg sections (1a) of a predetermined size at least by means of crosscutting. The respective prepreg section, while still being cooled to a temperature at which the portions of water contained therein are still frozen, is deposited at a predetermined position on a prepreg section which is stacked beforehand. The stacked prepreg sections are optionally fixed to one another by being pressed together. |
