According to the invention, in a method for producing a printing forme, in which a preform of the printing forme is provided with a printing pattern, the printing pattern is applied with the aid of a laser device, the wavelength of which can be adjusted to the type of material of the preform and the type of operation which is required in order to provide the printing pattern. The type of operation may vary from the exposure of photoresists to engraving and/or perforating. A pulsed Nd:YAG laser is preferably used. |
