A seawater gas generator for generating a combustible gas includes an electrolysis vessel with cathode and anode. One of the cathode and anode is formed with carbon, and the other electrode is formed with metal. In the resulting combustible gas, explosive reaction does not occur at ignition, and the liquefaction reaction can be made at -76 DEG C under the pressure of 16 kg/cm<2>. |
