PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device having a point registering function and a point selecting function for intuitively designating a landmark when a user designates the landmark as a destination or a point on route. SOLUTION: This navigation device is provided with an information processing part 2, a program storing part 3, a landmark control information storing part 7, an outputting part 5, an inputting part 6, and a position detecting part 9. The information processing part 2 includes a guiding part 4 performing instruction and guidance, a landmark controlling part 8 producing landmark control information and showing the landmark to the user for selection, and a route selecting part 10 selecting a route to a destination. The navigation device represents a display image matching the landmark control information, and when the display image is selected by the user, one or more landmark having a predetermined relationship such as a name and a type of trade with the display image is selected so as to be set as the destination or the point on route. |
