PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted electric wire manufacturing device with reduced cost, high versatility and by which even common compression bonding bodies can be stranded. SOLUTION: A pair of a front and a back fixed clamp pieces 31 and driving clamp pieces 32c retaining the end of one of the pair of electric wires, and a pair of a front and a back second clamp pieces 16a and 16b retaining the other end of the pair of electric wires, are provided in the twisted electric wire manufacturing device 1. Further, the device 1 has slider retaining each of the fixed clamp pieces 31, which are arranged to the front and the back and each driving clamp pieces 32c, and a slide cylinder. The slider varies the slider between a facing position and an intermediate position. In the facing position, each of the second clamp pieces 16a and 16b, fixed clamp pieces 31 and each driving clamp piece 32c are faced in a one to one correspondence along the horizontal direction. In the intermediate position, the fixed clamp pieces 31 and the driving clamp pieces 32c are installed on a line extended in the horizontal direction from the approximate central position in the front and back of each second clamp 16a and 16b.
