MULTIMEDIA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING A PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE, ESPECIALLY IN REFERENCE TO MULTILATERALLY SHARING MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION BETWEEN PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICES

PURPOSE: A multimedia management system using a portable terminal device is provided to perform bidirectional video/voice communication by exchanging multimedia data between portable terminal devices, and to multilaterally share multimedia information between the terminal devices, thereby supplying a multilateral conference and video phone service. CONSTITUTION: A client portable terminal device(2#1) is connected to data receivers(12) and data servers(11) of a multimedia management server(1) on a server computer designated by an IP address and a port number through a wireless network(3), and transmits self data to the multimedia management server(1) while receiving data of a portable terminal device(2#2) at the same time. The client portable terminal device(2#2) is connected to the data receivers(12) and the data servers(11) to transmit the self data, and receives the data of the portable terminal device(2#1). Multimedia data is exchanged between the two portable terminal devices(2#1,2#2).
