PURPOSE: A battery having embedded security ID codes is provided to ascertain integrity of the battery and a battery charger by using security ID codes stored in a memory, thereby preventing the manufacture of a fake battery and charger. CONSTITUTION: A battery having security ID codes includes a memory(30) and an electrode portion(40). The memory stores the security ID codes therein. The terminal portion includes a power terminal(40a) and a recognition terminal(40b). The power terminal supplies the power from a battery cell to outer devices or charges the outer devices. The recognition terminal provides the security ID codes stored in the memory to the outer devices.
