PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quantity adjusting method of an ice heat storage tank capable of accurately grasping the absence of remaining ice in the whole system by making determination on the basis of the temperature of refrigerant during heat radiating operation. SOLUTION: The increase of water quantity in the ice heat storage tank 2 to be more than set water quantity is judged, and the water quantity of the ice heat storage tank 2 is adjusted, when an ice making ratio detected by an ice making ratio meter mounted in the ice heat storage tank 2 is 10-40%, and a state that the temperature of refrigerant flowing in a refrigerating device system is higher than a daytime set temperature by more than a temperature set within a range of 1.5-2.5°C.
