PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric steering device which can smoothly perform the circulation of air between the internal space of a boot and the internal space of a housing while maintaining a high roundness of a bushing which is press-fitted in the inner periphery of a supporting section. SOLUTION: A bar-like steering member 6 which reciprocates in the longitudinal direction in response to the turning of a steering wheel is housed in the housing 5, and the bushing 24 is provided by being press-fitted in the inner periphery of the supporting section 23 which penetrates and supports the steering member 6 at the end section of the housing 5. The end section of the housing 5 is provided with the boot 25 which covers the connected section between the steering member 6 and a tie-rod. A through hole 28 which makes air circulate between the internal space of the boot 25 and the internal space of the housing 5 when the boot 25 shrinks accompanying the reciprocating motion of the steering member 6 is provided on the supporting section 23.
