PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety of heated air which is discharged from an air discharging port, and in addition, to increase the drying efficiency without reducing the performance of a heating means, and also without reducing the air volume of a blowing means for a dish washer and dryer which performs the drying of dishes after washing them. SOLUTION: The dish 3 are dried by increasing a temperature in a washing tank 11 which houses the dish 3 by a heater 6. The air-discharging port 13 which feeds the outside air into the washing tank 11 by the blowing means 7, and discharges the heated air in the washing tank 11 to the outside of the tank, and the inside of the washing tank 11 are connected by an air-discharging passage 14.
