PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost, low in cost and hardly affected by an installation location, of which the film and the detecting part are easily constituted and which is stuck to glass by a simple process. SOLUTION: This sensor comprises a transparent base material having a detection electrode and a reference electrode which is non-contact with the transparent base material and the detection electrode. In the sensor, a detection circuit for detecting a change in electrostatic capacity between the detection electrode and the reference electrode is connected to the detection electrode and the reference electrode. A transparent electric conductive layer and a protection layer are sequentially formed on one side of the transparent base material. The sensor has a connected electrode for the detection electrode on the protection layer, the detection electrode being the transparent electric conductive layer and the connected electrode for the detection electrode which place the protection layer therebetween.
