PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently fill liquid chlorine and to reduce exhaust of chlorine gas from a tank under filling when filling liquid chlorine in the tank such as a cylinder, a tank truck or tank freight car. SOLUTION: In this tank filling method of liquid chlorine, the difference C between tank internal pressure A at the start of filling and tank internal pressure B in the middle of filling liquid chlorine is set in a range from 0.15 to 1.5 MPa in filling liquid chlorine in the tank, and a filling time is within two hours.
