PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-split roller bearing whose rolling fatigue life can be prolonged while preventing the axial movement of rollers without providing a collar on a bearing ring and preventing an increase in contact bearing pressure by minimizing the skewing of the rollers. SOLUTION: The roller bearing comprises an outer ring 1, a ring-shaped cage having a plurality of pockets arrayed in the circumferential direction, and the plurality of rollers 2 held in the pockets of the cage, the outer ring 1 and the cage being each slit into two split bodies which are arrayed in the circumferential direction. Each of inner peripheral faces 1a, 1b of the outer ring 1 has both axial ends groove-shaped with their diameters gradually smaller as tending closer to the side edge. Each of the rollers 2 has an axial center portion 2a whose outer peripheral face is formed cylindrical and which has contact with the outer peripheral face of a shaft or an inner ring.
