FIELD: heating. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposal is given for a method of controlling hermeticity of vacuum systems of turbo-installations through visual observation of the leakage of medium through a turbine condenser. The vacuum system hermeticity control is carried out during operation of turbo-installation of a steam pressure condenser, at the places where steam leaks from the condenser through increasing the pressure of the exhaust steam in the condenser to excess of 0.05-0.2 kgf/cm2 by temporarily closing the injector. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability and economy of the thermal power plant through increase in the quality of equipment and elimination of air cupping spots in the vacuum system of the turbo-installation. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg
