PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus of high reliability preventing attachment of dew condensation water in a paper ejecting guide caused by water vapor generated from heated sheet material to the sheet material and suppressing occurrence of an image failure or wrinkling in the sheet material. SOLUTION: The heating apparatus is provided with: a heating means with a heating part heating the conveyed sheet material, the guide member guiding the sheet material which is fed out from the heating part from above, and a plurality of guiding ribs guiding the sheet material to the guiding member. The guiding ribs are shaped so that they are higher in both end parts in the longitudinal direction than a central part in an upstream part of the guiding member and the central part in the longitudinal direction is higher than both end parts in a downstream part of the guiding member.
