PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-accurate mainspring winding-up mechanism of a timepiece having an improved duration by improving mainspring energy of a power source of the timepiece. SOLUTION: A square hole wheel has a spiral mainspring, and thereby a mainspring force works in the winding-up direction of the mainspring, and delays unwinding of the mainspring, to thereby reduce decline of a mainspring torque. Namely, mainspring energy and energy of the spiral mainspring of the square hole wheel are bonded in parallel, and thereby decline of the mainspring torque is delayed without increasing greatly an initial mainspring torque, and the duration can be elongated.
