PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for editing a template, allowing a user to simply generate a dynamic video object. SOLUTION: This apparatus for editing the template for generating a dynamic video object includes: a user interface for receiving an editing instruction from a user; a template controller for purging script according to the editing instruction to acquire a scene to construct a dynamic video object and generate a time tab, indicating the point of time for displaying a dynamic video object; a scene controller for acquiring an object, contained in the acquired scene and an execution module for defining the dynamic effect of the object; an object controller for generating a control code for controlling the object, on the basis of the time tab; and a template storing part for storing a template formed including the script, the execution module, the object and the control code.
