PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image device capable of eliminating a troubles in switching an imaging system in the image device capable of still picture photographing and moving picture photographing. SOLUTION: The image device supports a still picture photographing mode and a moving picture photographing mode and comprises an angle detecting unit for detecting an inclination with respect to a positive posture of the image device and a switching means for switching modes from the still picture photographing mode to the moving picture photographing mode or vice versa according to the inclination of the image device.
