A wearable electronic device worn in a human body comprises: a display panel configured to display an image; a main board in which a processor for controlling an operation of the wearable electronic device is arranged; a loop antenna located between the display panel and the main board; and a near field communication (NFC) chip connected to the loop antenna and configured to transceive NFC in a direction passing the display panel by using the loop antenna so as to perform NFC. Therefore, the wearable electronic device performs NFC while the wearable electronic device is worn.
