PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of resolution feeling in pixel shift control.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: a movement control part for displacing a DMD periodically between a first state which is an existing position, and a second state in which the DMD is displaced from the first state; and a synchronization control part for synchronizing a displacement period of the DMD and a rotation period of a color wheel. In the displacement period in which the DMD is displaced from the first state to the second state, or from the second state to the first state, when a period in which the DMD is displaced between the first state and a first predetermined position from the first state, is a displacement period A, a period in which the DMD is displaced between the second state and a second predetermined position from the second state, is a displacement period C, and a period excluding the displacement periods A, C is a displacement period B, the synchronization control part sets so that, a ratio of light transmission by a color segment whose relative luminosity is lower than a predetermined value, becomes higher in the displacement period B, than in the displacement periods A, C, out of the color segments of the color wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 24 |
