PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water server in which microorganisms are hardly brought into a container, for example at a preliminary stage of sterilization treatment by high temperature water without taking a structure provided with a check valve or the like.SOLUTION: A water server includes a tank 3 in piping systems C2, C6 supplying drinking water packed in a container 1, and comprises: a heating means 4 for heating the drinking water in the tank 3 to turn it into high temperature water; a pump 10 causing the high temperature water in the tank 3 to reversely flow toward the piping systems C2, C6; and circulation passages C8, C9, returning the high temperature water sent to the piping systems C2, C6 by the pump 10 again to the tank 3. A control device 20 for controlling at least the heating means 4 and the pump 10 comprises: a main sterilization treatment means for sterilizing at least the piping systems C2, C6 and the circulation passages C8, C9 by causing the high temperature water to reversely flow over a predetermined period by the pump 10; and an auxiliary sterilization treatment means for bringing at least the vicinity X of a start point of the piping systems C2, C6 into a sterilization treated state. |
