SOLAR DESALINATION MODULES FOR STAND-ALONE

The present invention relates to a stand-alone solar desalination module which can generate electrical energy required for desalination for itself through photovoltaic power generation and, simultaneously, enables desalination of seawater through heating of seawater using thermal energy of solar light. A stand-alone solar desalination module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a seawater supply unit which stores seawater entering from the outside and forcibly circulates the seawater; a solar light collection unit which focuses solar light onto a single focal point and generates vapor by heating the seawater, circulated by the seawater supply unit, by means of thermal energy formed by collecting solar light; a fresh water production unit which produces fresh water by collecting and condensing the vapor generated by the solar light collection unit; and a photovoltaic generation unit which enables electrical energy required for desalination of seawater to be generated for itself.
